Cherry Blossom Skate on the Rin Rin Road
最近とても忙しいだから、書くことに時間がありません。ここからもう、色々していますが、いつもスケートが行ったら、楽しいかったです。一週間前に、りんりんロードのお花見をしました。その４０キロの道は平たくて、殆ど全部な直線です。私は何回もりんりんに行ったので、主人の初めてのロングランでした。２５人ぐらいと楽しかったです。ゆみちゃん、だいちゃん、リーダーをくれてありがとう。Pictures from Rin Rin Ohanami Skate.
Lately, I've been so super busy that I haven't written here. Doing many things, but always enjoy skating with my friends if I get the chance. Last weekend, we went on the Rin Rin Road Cherry Blossom Viewing Skate (Ohanami). The Rin Rin is a 40 kilometer (that's 25 miles) of flat, almost straight road. It used to be a railroad line, and there are defunct stations every so often all along the way. The cool thing, is that there are so many young cherry trees planted along the paved trail, and at all the former stations there are very old trees proudly spreading their splendor over the remnants of platforms. At one such station we ate our bento lunch under a wildly blooming cherry tree that might have been a hundred years old. I've skated the Rin Rin several times, but this was Martin's first Long Run. There were about 25 of us, and though we did have some mishaps, nothing serious, and I think everyone had a good time. I know I did. Thanks to Yumi-chan and Dai-chan, Trip Leaders.
