夏の故国に旅行の計画こと
This is a test to see if we can get my Dad to look at my blog. This is a photo of him and my mom with some of his school classmates. I took this picture last summer at my sister's restaurant in Michigan. He's known these people for over 50 years. Good looking group, isn't it.
It's April, and I am late to be planning our summer homeleave, but it's so complicated, so expensive, so many factors to consider, so many people we want to see, and things we want to do during our short time in America. Martin will work in Michigan, Tennessee and probably Indiana. We all want to see my family and his family (they are in Texas, Colorado, Michigan, Iowa and Missouri) as well as friends in Tennessee and Chicago. Of course we can't go to all those places in just 4-5 weeks, so Martin's family will meet us in St. Louis. Maybe I can get Jay and Steve, (our adult sons who are in Iowa), to meet us in Michigan. I also MUST do some clothing and other shopping, ride my motorcycle which is in storage in TN, and see our family doctors. And of course, we want to see as many baseball games as possible, maybe the Cardinals, the Cubs and the Tigers plus the Sounds, Whitecaps, whatever we can manage.
AND, I want to be back to Tokyo in time for the Big Skaters BBQ in early August, something I miss every year because I'm out of the country. Can all of this be accomplished? We will see. Will someone please tell me the date? 夏のスケータの BBQの年月日を知っていったら、教えてください。
Yesterday, I gathered ALL the photos from the Michigan portion of last summer's homeleave. There are so many, but I was ruthless and pared it down to just 220 pictures! Ouch! I know that's alot, but even though no one else might find it interesting, I think my family will enjoy looking at them. 今私は夏の故国の旅行を計画しています。しにくいですが、大切です。旅行は高くて、複雑です。私は３人妹ある、１人弟。皆はミシガン州に住んでいます。主人の兄と弟はミザーリ州に住んでいて、妹はテイサス州ニ住んでいて、彼の両親はコロラド州に住んでいます。 そして私の２人息子はアイオワ州に住んでいる。でも時間がありません。難しいです。
Now I must go to my camera class. Hopefully I will soon be taking better pictures. I have lots of other stuff I want to put here soon. About some people and activities at the kids' school, about the Bon Jovi concert, and a poem that Iwa-san wrote about skating, which I will translate into English.
