おいしかった!マティンは手だけで作りました。 モニカは手伝いました。
Martin made this pizza one handed with Monica's help. Delicious!
It is customized. Four different quarters for each of us. I want everything.
This posting is especially for Mary Kay, Martin's Mom. The beautiful woman in the red sweater there with Monica and Pike's Peak in the background . When Martin finally decided to have the surgery on his arm, after years of pain and loss of function, his mother's words were so inspiring... and so poignant. She gave such encouragement, because she really knows what its like having to learn to use your less dominant hand. But, since she herself suffered a permanant loss several years ago, her words were especially
inspiring when she reminded him it was temporary. Martin knows she had no such assurance, and look how amazing she is. Thanks Mary Kay. Here's a few pix so you know your Favorite Son is doing well. This is the day after he got back. He was sleeping a lot then. Post-op and Jet-lag mixed.
Today, we went to see Dr. Kumano, and he took
the stitches out and put a cast on. Everything is fine. Martin's picking up speed fast. He's been working from home everyday "hunt and peck" email and heavy conference calls. He did altar server training this afternoon at church. Lots of work plans next week. Made pizza with Miss Volleyball tonight. No problem. 問題ない。
mmmm Pizza...
Get better Marty, it's going to be hard for you to play Ultimate with one arm.

So glad Martin's arm is healing well. That pizza was a triumph!
