Neither of us has ever been to New Orleans, and now look what's happened. It will never be the same. We pray for the folks in that region who are dealing with so much tragedy and we hope the music soon returns to their lives.
Whenever we visit Nashville, we always go to Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar and watch/listen to Stacy Mitchhart and his band, "The Blues-U-You-Can-Use".
Stacy is the best blues singer in Nashville. Sometimes they are out touring in other cities, but otherwise they are the house band at Bourbon Street. He told me he'd be happy to come to Japan and perform. Too bad I don't know anyone in the music business here. Here's a taste of my favorite song, New Orleans Lady.

And you can dance to it! Here's our best friends,
Neil and Gina who met when they were in High School and are still very much in love MANY years later.
What's their secret? I don't know for sure, but they have fun together, and they like the same things, motorcycles, Blues, and us.
Ya know, Memphis is better know for its blues and is only 3ish hours away...

Well, you've got a point there, Matt. I don't know much about Memphis but Elvis's hometown is pretty famous for Blues. But you know, Nashville is "Music City USA" and it aint just for Country.

Nashville may be 'Music City', but Memphis is the 'Home of the Blues'. Beale Street is jumping with live music about every night and you can hear some of the best guitar players around.
I've always picture Nashville as a country music city because of the Grand Ole Opry. However, one of the guitarists for my favorite band, King Crimson, lives in Nashville, so they record there, so I've had to broaden my thinking.
